Unlock Your Voice: Art and Activism Zine Workshop

This event will take place online.

Join us for a creative journey at our Art and Activism Zine Workshop, where we'll explore the powerful intersection of art and social change. Zines become our canvas for activism. Discover the stories, symbols, and messages that matter to you, and transform them into zine that can be your tool for inspiration and change.

Workshop Highlights:

Introduction to Zine-Making: Learn the basics of folding and crafting your own pocket-sized zine, a powerful tool for personal expression.

Historical Dive: Explore the rich history of zines in activism, from punk movements to contemporary online platforms, and gain inspiration from impactful examples.

Prompts for Empowerment: Engage with thought-provoking prompts designed to help you uncover your personal activism narrative and express it through art.

Toolbox for Activists: Design your own activist toolbox within your zine, filled with resources, quotes, and ideas to inspire and empower others to take action.

At the end of the workshop, there will be an opportunity to share the zines you have made. We will also offer the option to take part in a digital zine swap.
