On the last Sunday of every month Glasgow Zine Library offers free venue hire for trans healthcare Yard Sales. If you are interested in hosting a Yard Sale with us, please read the information below before completing this form to enquire about availability.
Who can host a Yard Sale at GZL?
Yard Sale venue hire is only available to people who are raising money to pay for gender affirming healthcare (either their own healthcare or on behalf of someone else).
In order to prioritise those most in need, Yard Sales are only offered to people who are fundraising for upcoming payments, rather than those who are recouping costs. Demand for Yard Sales is high, please be honest with yourself and your financial situation when requesting a Yard Sale.
Priority for dates will be organised based on people’s booked surgery dates. Otherwise, Yard Sales are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
What does GZL provide?
Free access to the space for the agreed date and time (typically Set-up: 10.30-12.00; Event: 12:00-18:00; Pack-down: 18:00-19:30).
GZL can lend our card reader, however you will need your own Paypal Point of Sale account if you wish to take card payments.

Access to the independent @_wow_a_yard_sale instagram for promotion. GZL can share tagged posts onto our stories.
An advice sheet based on learning from past Yard Sales.
GZL staff will be on site to supervise and will ensure the safety and wellbeing of the hirer and all participants during the hire, according to our Safer Spaces Policy.
