This event will take place in Clydeside Hall at The Briggait. It is free to attend, no ticket needed.

Creative collective playmymixtape hosts this fun and friendly drop-in trading event. Bring along the physical media item(s) of your choice to trade. You’ll then have the option to swap your item with something on display, or take part in a mystery item swap.

If you want to swap your item(s) with something on display, you can select something and take it away immediately. We’ll have items brought by other visitors, as well as items sourced by members of the GZL team.

If you want to take part in the mystery swap, you’ll be asked to place your item in a secret envelope along with a brief description. At the end of the drop-in, you’ll be able to take part in a live trade, selecting your new item along with everyone else who has contributed a mystery item.

Items can include – but are not limited to – CDs, DVDs, cassettes, books, keychains, board games, posters, zines, magazines, trinkets, and vintage (working) technologies.

About the facilitator:

playmymixtape is a creative collective for community activities and events. with a focus on music and sound, playmymixtape brings people together with a shared interest in preserving physical media and being creative in company.

GZL pledges to support The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel. As part of this pledge we may participate in strikes called in response to the ongoing genocide in Palestine. If this event falls on a strike day and is cancelled, we will work with event leaders to reschedule the event asap. Participants will also have the option of receiving an immediate refund for any ticket purchases and travel booked to attend.
