Making Doctor Who Mini-Fanzines!

  • Glasgow Zine Library 32-34 Albert Road Glasgow, Scotland, G42 8DN United Kingdom (map)

Please note: this event will be held in person.

Join Coin-Operated Press at Glasgow Zine Library to nerd-out about Doctor Who and celebrate your love for The Doctor by crafting your very own mini-zine!

Deep-dive into terrifying villains, rank your favourite Doctor-Companion relationships, journey through intergalactic time, or simply celebrate the show's frights and friendships in the company of fellow-fans. There will also be a bunch of Whovian-themed prompts to pick from in case you are feeling a little stuck for ideas on the day.

All experience levels are welcome and we will take you through the steps to fold your mini-zine. We will provide all of the materials to make your zines, but please feel free to bring along some of your own collage supplies if you want to add a personal touch.

Unsure what to pay for Pay-What-You-Can events? Find our guide here.

Please note: we can only issue refunds requested 72 hours before the workshop begins.

About Coin-Operated Press CIC:

Coin-Operated Press CIC is a social enterprise zine press run by Chloe Henderson. Rooted in Scotland’s creative community, we bring people together through workshops, zine fairs, and our travelling zine library. Each month, we collaborate with artists and writers to create new zines that amplify unsung voices. Our themes range from important causes close to our hearts to playful, joyful ideas that offer a little light in the darkness. We’re passionate about sharing our love for zines and creating educational resources that open up zine-making as a tool for expression, connection, and change.
