"Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Worm?" An AU Fanfiction Workshop

Please note: this event will be held online.

A fanfiction workshop exploring how one might successfully pull off writing an AU (alternate universe) without losing sight of what makes your favourite pairing themselves.

We'll explore examples of which fanfics (in this fangirl's opinion) manage to pull off this sometimes surprisingly difficult task, consider how even the crackiest of crackfic deserves to be taken seriously as an artform, and do some quickfire AU premise exercises based on random prompts.

Fanfiction writers of all experience levels are more than welcome to join (there will be no pressure to share your work if you aren't ready for that yet!), this will be a welcoming and encouraging environment to share our love of that sometimes tricksy but always fun genre that is the AU setting.

Unsure what to pay for Pay-What-You-Can events? Find our guide here.

Please note: we can only issue refunds requested 72 hours before the workshop begins.
