Make Your Own Oracle Cards

  • Glasgow Zine Library 32-34 Albert Road Glasgow, Scotland, G42 8DN United Kingdom (map)

Please note: this event will be held in person.

While the veil is thin, come and ask burning questions like “How does the past inform the tools we create to imagine a future?” “Where have I stored a secret visual archive of meaning and how do I bring it to the surface?” “Does she loves me or does she loves me not?”

At this workshop with Sasha Staicu we will be have an informal overview of the history of oracle decks, compare difference choices by different artists and discuss personal symbolism, the vocabulary of our dreams, how the zeitgeist creates its own potent dictionary of image-meaning and how we can blend them all together to make our own intuitive oracle cards.

Art supplies and magazines to cut up will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own as well if you like.

This is a beginner friendly craft workshop.

Unsure what to pay for Pay-What-You-Can events? Find our guide here.

Please note: we can only issue refunds requested 72 hours before the workshop begins.

About Sasha:

My name is Sasha and I work across graphic design, illustration and art direction (often collaboratively) with a focus on projects rooted in community, spirituality, care, and imagination.

I believe design can be a tool for connection and transformation — a way to build the kinds of futures we long for, and to make them visible now.
