Why we need your support

Glasgow Zine Library is a small team working year-round to deliver our accessible, pay what you can programme, manage our collection, provide professional development opportunities, and run our annual festival. Support from our community allows us to carry out our mission with more peace of mind, spending a little more time with you and a little less time at a desk working on funding applications.

Every pound you donate goes directly into our organisation to help us reach our community: paying contributors for their time running events, buying zines directly from makers to add to our collection, access provisions such as BSL interpretation, audio description, and live captioning, as well as delivering materials packs to people in order to take part in hands-on making. Your contribution to GZL literally helps to keep our lights on and our door open.

If you would like to support us, and help us keep doing our work, there are a few options:

Make a direct donation

You can make a one-off donation to us through PayPal! You can also set up a monthly recurring payment to GZL. Recurring payments allow us to budget for money we know is coming in.

Join our Patreon

You can support us through Patreon, where you will have access to early bird tickets for our events, bonus content, and our monthly newsletter that’s filled to the brim with staff recommendations and general musings on pop culture and DIY. We also occasionally offer exclusive merch just for our patrons!
