📣 A Shelby x Studios Zine-Making Workshop 📣
Join us for an interactive 2-hour online workshop where we’ll learn through zine-making, conversation, and creativity. Together, we’ll explore the situation in Palestine, discussing the occupation, climate justice, and the role of art in activism in an open and welcoming space.
✨ Workshop Structure:
📍 Introduction & Welcome – Meet the facilitators, get familiar with zine-making materials, and set intentions for the session.
🎙️ Discussion & Reflection – Engage in a guided conversation with Palestinian artist & activist Malak Yassine and Grace Kress, founder of Shelby x Studios, where we’ll exchange thoughts and ideas on Palestine, climate justice, and art as activism.
🍉 Zine-Making Session – Get creative with our specially curated zine packs including exclusive stickers, a zine-making guide, and activity ideas. Using prompts from the discussion and the zine packs, we’ll create our own zines that express our thoughts, reflections, and responses.
💬 Sharing & Closing – Wrap up with a space to share our work, ask questions, and reflect on the experience together.
🔥 Bring your curiosity, creativity, and ideas. Let’s make, learn, and connect through zine-making!
All anti-racists and pro-Palestinians welcome!
Please note: Bookings for this workshop will close one week prior to the event to allow time for zine packs to be posted. Please book at your earliest convenience to ensure you receive yours in time.
